BTI’s Automatic Torsional Test Stand applies and records torsional load on steering column tulip assemblies. The system automates what would otherwise be a manual torque-and-log process, applying a controlled torsional load to each assembly and capturing the reading as a data record rather than a handwritten one. That gives steering column and driveline manufacturers a consistent, repeatable test method and a traceable result for every part that runs through it.
