At 200,000 lb capacity, this horizontal balancer is the heaviest-class machine BTI builds, engineered for full-size steam and gas turbine rotors. It’s configured-to-order for power generation and heavy industrial turbine manufacturers and service shops, where rotor mass and length place these jobs well outside the range of standard balancing equipment. As with BTI’s other turbine and jet engine work, the machine is sized and configured around the specific rotor geometry and tolerance requirements of the customer’s application.
