Systems BTI Interfaces With

ANDON, FIS, QIS, QDM and MES are ordinary requirements on BTI projects rather than special cases. Machines carry two industrial Ethernet ports plus serial connectivity, and the measurement system and PLC are already networked to each other, so adding a plant interface is an extension of the architecture rather than a bolt-on.

What Typically Gets Exchanged

Incoming and outgoing unbalance per part, with part number and timestamp
Pass/fail and reject reason for line control and ANDON signalling
Part identification read at the station — scanner or RFID — for traceability
Recipe or model selection pushed from the plant system to the machine
SPC records to a quality database

Robotics and Upstream Equipment

On automated cells BTI also interfaces to robots, conveyance, process controllers and upstream machining — including closed-loop feedback, where gage results correct an upstream operation rather than only sorting parts downstream.

How It Gets Specified

Interfaces are defined against your protocol and data dictionary during engineering, not improvised at installation. Where a custom interface is required beyond the standard data export, it is quoted explicitly so the scope is visible before the order.
