Equipment, Documentation, and Support in Your Language
BTI is committed to providing the easiest-to-use equipment in the industry. For this reason, we offer multilingual equipment, documentation, and support to all of our customers. PC and PLC interfaces — along with identification tags on the equipment — can be customized to display multiple languages, including English, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, and others. In addition, all documentation, including software, manuals, and mechanical and electrical drawings can be provided in alternate language. Furthermore, the BTI team includes many bilingual personnel to aid in translation and aftermarket support.
Units and Language on the Machine
Operators select English or metric unbalance units at the panel — oz-in, g-mm, g-cm, g-m, kg-mm, kg-cm, kg-m, g-in, N-m, or unbalance at a chosen correction radius. Decimal places are selectable too, so a display can match the resolution your specification is written in rather than forcing a conversion in someone’s head.
Documentation Languages
As standard, software, manuals, and mechanical and electrical drawings are supplied in English language and units. Other languages and unit systems are quoted on request, so a machine destined for a plant outside the United States can ship with documentation its maintenance team can actually use.
Why It Matters on a Global Program
BTI equipment runs in plants across North America, Europe and Asia, often for the same customer on the same part family. Matching units and language to the receiving plant — not to the head office that placed the order — is what keeps a machine from being run conservatively because nobody trusts the readout.
